| 330 | 😟 | Suggestion | I'm playing a continuation of my Beta access save. Iron has become a massive throughput issue. There just isn't enough of it to go around. Mainly do to wire and cable. I started doing the math in my head of what would be required to support my current factory needs and was blown away by how far off I am. I have spent quite a bit of time idle just attending to issuing new mining orders and making small changes to production or power needs. I can't start research. I can't really expand. I can't upgrade. I mean, I could, but the iron costs are insane. In almost every other factory style game, copper is recognized as the main source of wire produciton. However, in this game, it is introduced so late in research that it could'nt serve as the main resorce for this component. Maybe an introduction of an upgraded production or an alternant production of copper could serve as a replacement for iron? Or am I just doomed to scrap my 25 hrs on this save and restart with new map gen and spam double or tripple the amount of twin bots and smelting? | | 2023-08-17 03:03:49 |
