The Small Efficiency Module says it increases component efficiency by 50%, but in actual practice only does so by 1/3 (33.33_%). And the Internal version says it increases efficiency by 20%, but in actual practice only does so by 1/3 (16.66_%). It also, counterintuitively, seems to stack multiplicatively rather than additively, meaning more than 2 Internal Efficiency thingies hits hard diminishing returns, with 3 being the realistic useful limit. With a maximum of 4 module hardpoints per building and 4 internals, that actually makes 3 Internals worth more in the long run than one Small Module, even with the stacking penalty. | | 2024-08-24 11:55:36 |
