4641😀SuggestionIs this a good place to put some suggestion? Mind you, I won't be joining any of those groups since I don't like social medias.

I will post my suggestions. If any of you devs says this is not a good place, I will delete/(move?) since my only reason for messaging is to pass on suggestions

1. The more I watch how to videos, the more I see how inefficiently I used my whole base and this includes redoing almost everything. Please add more to the tutorial. Even challenges if you want.

It can be as simple as going from one stage to the next one via solving puzzles that involved behaviour comments

Aka the basic will be basic, like how to tell a unit to pick up items and deliver, aka exactly like tutorial. However, also some other basic stuffs. Like how you can use the rater to detect whatever it is. As well as the differences between. Also in this basic, in game stuff, like using Alt, shift <- like how holding and press any of the 10 numbers, you assigned said group to said number (if it was not mentioned in options, i would have never found it), how to use the shared storage.

Let me now even start with the channel 1 - 4, disabling collect and such, from network.

More advance is using the behaviour comments, the more simple ones. Here you can also let people know that you can save units, create folders, and more I only learned via "i wish I knew before playing" & "tips and tricks" videos.


And of course expert is essentially exactly that. for people who played many hours of the game.

I want to point out that what I wrote above is NOT taking seriously.

People pick up this game to PLAY a game, not to READ lectures. Aka YES WE ARE IGNORING THE CODEX because we want to play and not study <- this is why I said, it's not taking seriously.


2. Just like in factorio and other games, if a building is destroyed, add the option for a "ghost" to be there that will essentially trigger for said structure to be rebuild. I stopped my 20 hours play because I had enough that each time the bugs invade, I need to redo the plateau that got destroyed as they walked in. Aesthetic is a very important part of this game, so having ruined plateau is just irritating. And of course, if a building gets destroyed, this is even worse..... The notification: something got attack, just leave it there until we dismiss, even add a button: reconstruct. So even if a unit gets destroyed, they get replaced.

3. Please do something about blocked paths. Nothing is more annoying in automation games. I fail to understand why such scenarios happen: Mass boss mine a large ore patch, but one bot who is more in the centre, can leave since the path out is blocked by other bots who are mining something else. Just let the bot move, with the other bots move out of their way. Same idea, tons of bots, at the same time, when to the destination storage unit, and they blocked each other out. Since the storage was to full, they where wasting all in a certain place to drop off, and of course, the one coming to pick up/empty the storage was unable because the mining bots block this off....... Do you see what I mean with Nr1? Do you know how it is when I learn how to use portable transfer equipment, how it is when I learn how to program the behaviour of other units. I was doing so many thing absolutely new, so many task, so many aspect, so many verification everything work, that I did not even have the time to do a "transfer" bot like in tutorial since I needed to go to the next thing. And I am sure many other people do the same....

4. Add a in game "note". Let us do our own task.

A reminder. Especially if you can allow us to even add pictures/icons and values.

5. Regarding the visual: Can you please add a background? Like a geometric shaped? <- I did not say square or circle because I do hope you let us chose the size, form, and colour of the frame. Maybe it's because of my eyesight, when I have set items that I craft as visual, I sometimes don't see them clearly unless the colour differences are strong

6. For the Radar FILTER, please also add "NOT". Best examples are the Infinite resource + bots who are automatically collecting resources... except you need to manually re orient them when they go for the infinite one when there is a non infinite chunk next to it. This "not" is also good for EASY setting for robots who collect or explore. Instead of setting up a behaviour to run from enemies, all you need to to do is scan for "target" IF no enemy is around. This way, no behaviour is needed.

I will stop since other suggestions might not be relevant or solvable via behaviour loaded by others.

Lastly, I just want to make it once again clear, all i wrote is feedback that I hope will Improve the game. I really love automation factory building. And all the stuff I wrote, are stuff I am aware a lot of people don't bother to check, yet, if they are implemented or they are aware of them, chances the whole game experience
