5557	😟	Bug	BUG: Drone miner returns "Cannot Mine" without a mining laser attached, mining drones won't operate as a result. I've been trying to figure out how mining drones work for about 2 hours... Only to find out that it doesn't work, unless you ALSO have a mining laser/miner attached to the same bot. If not, the ui will just return "Cannot Mine ..." and nothing will happen. Manually setting the register of a drone port/launcher to a ore deposit also doesn't work. I love the game! But it DESPERATELY needs some documentation/tutorials/examples on more advanced features! I've lost too many hours figuring out things because there is no documentation.		2025-07-31 19:47:04

36 Hi, I had a look at your save and it seems you have the mine instruction on the Hound, which is the unit that houses the drones, the drones themselves are the ones you need to add the behavior controller to and they will mine okay as they have a mining component built in. The miner drones and the unit they are housed in (in this case the Hound) are two separate units with their own logic. Hope this helps! Admin 2025-07-31 20:41:21
