| 234 | Hi, the bots in this game have interchangeable components and are less like starcraft/c&c units where they have a specific task, but rather can be assigned any task. In your save you would still need to add a miner component for it to mine, but you can also add a mining component to any unit or building to make it mine. Engineers however do get a 300% component efficiency bonus which makes them better for certain jobs. I also noticed you are trying to mine outside your power grid so it is better to mine the metal near your base until you can expand your power.
