| 6276 | 😟 | General | In this save I'm trying to test out automating as much as I can with behaviours, but I've hit a snag with my auto-explore routine. I can get it to find explorables, and try to solve them, and come back for what it's missing if it can't. But that seems to rapidly leave it waiting for things I don't have access to, and sometimes things I haven't even heard of.
First it went off and opened a few, only needing things like circuits which my base could provide. Then it came back wanting an intel scanner. This took ages to get, because it's very deep in the tech tree. Then I added equipping items to the behaviour and it went and scanned something, only to come back right away asking for an "alien lock". I don't know what that is and haven't even got into the alien tech tree, and I half expect I need to do the explorables to even get it, which is what this bot is meant to be doing.
So, in order for automated exploring to be anything but an end-game activity, I need some way to blacklist uncooperative sites. Otherwise it just finds them over and over. But it's not really clear how, or if, I can do that. The game explains very little about any of this. The fact that there is such a thing as "solve explorable" suggests this is meant to be a thing that can work, but it's not looking hopeful when my bot just goes out an immediately requests advanced items.
