| 6450 | 😟 | Performance | Please tone down the mass spawns in Swarm mode. Even with our host machine using a 9800X3D the game starts to become unplayable with very pronounced hitching. And it seems to come out of nowhere: we go around clearing hives for a long way in each direction and it goes quiet, then suddenly bam, a constant stream of enemies is pouring in from multiple sides and the game is hitching every few seconds. It feels like they didn't even ramp up again but rather just all dropped in so suddenly the performance tanked right away.
We like the swarm mode bc it seems like the only way we can make the game less passive, but this is starting to ruin it. | | 2026-03-17 16:02:42 |
