| 634 | 1. Yes you are able to perform both in the same game. You will need to progress a bit to unlock stability but then you can do the "other" ending. 2. That is not "grayed out" but rather a list of showing you how the statilbity can change, in the second list it shows what makes it go more unstable, and equipping a virus core is part of that. An easy way to change it to more unstable is to solve the Alien Explorables in the blight (Observers, console, Heart Shard, etc.) with an infected circuit board.
