(Also, if entities now point at one behavior rather than copying it now, HUGE yay, because that made pasting lots of behaviors literally crash the game before; so, thank you.) But a lot of work is still needed here. You need to decide what the expectation is with folders -- keeping those paths set up twice in my faction and in My Blueprints is wild. It's still VERY easy to edit the faction one and not the My Blueprints one, or vice versa, with nearly zero visual cue, and that's bad. The green text about how many units will be affected by a change is a GREAT step in the right direction. Do more stuff like that! Give me text like that for whether a similarly-named thing exists in whichever library I'm not editing right now, and whether it's in sync or how far off! If the player activates ambient camera then the first few times a dialogue box pops up! 'Ambient camera is a great way to test that your base can run itself. Enjoy, but be advised that with aggressive bugs your base will need to respond to and clean up attacks without your input. You can toggle to enforce passive bugs while in camera mode, or you can prove your automation skils by responding to attacks with behaviours. Due to the nature of the game, said recourses are in the way as you explore due to preventing the clearning of the land via behaviour since the chuncks and the initite resource are mixed together. 3. A sugestion: Prevent scanners from "registering" them as a mineral. This way, we can automaite the clearning of chuncks of minerals and such, and if the worse case scenario such infinite resourses are still in the way we can just destroy it.... 4. Let's take it a bit further. What if insted of an infinite mineral, it's a ruine that give an equipment that automatically and infinitly crafts said mineral... yep, you get the ideea 4 continue from now on: this way, each time we collect such equipment, all we need to do is equip it to a building. PLEASE make it a "I" type. Please don't complicate this via S, M, L. This is extremly important since like this, we can do as simple as adding 2 crystal to a S building and it will create 2 crystals at the same times. And of course, the more you collect the more insane this cheat becomes. Imagen you have 4 I slots to a bot and goes around giving everyone crystals (or whatever it has) And I will stress it out again, the infinite mineral is chosens for a good reason, so please don't make it harder to get since people would have just chosen a different option if they want to "work" to earn tons of resourses. Of course, this "equipment" could also be a separate option, all you need is to add new custumise option. And again, the 4th option is because, as mentioned at 2, autobehevoirs do work but you end up reajusting the miners. And of course, if 4 is to much, just please consider nr3. Just add a "ignore infinite" because currently you need to set up a more complex beheviour where the bot need to check if the mineral is over an insane value, and then somehow look for a different one, aka ignore that one and show a different one. Also. I really love this game. Please fix improve the tutorial since it's bare bones the jump from tutorial to using the game even without beheviour is to much that I am not suprised so little people are playing the game. And I don't know how well it will do even if it's out from EA since I saw many people mentioning this game on the "similar like Factorio" topics yet it's a mixed reaction exactly because you need to learn to much before you can play. And if you don't learn, it's not a good game.... and such people will never see how amazing this game really is. Also. Consider adding "allies" why? So that people see and learn from said allies Including the ability to copy the beheviour settings <- yes, this will be absolutly up to your team to make it so amazing, that people will copy this to show how amazing it is. I have 0 ideea how to do with resourses since they are limited. Maybe this allies will be a challange only? Like you start the game as a "trainee" and you essentially go through school and see how others (ai) are playing to learn? You have both tutorial section where you can transform that one to one where allies exist and change the resourses to infinite so there won't be any limitation (and please don't start with the "what if people don't want infinite resourse" when they can alway play said map and set the seed to 0 and see how fun it is to play with allies and battle about resourses) And I do hope this whole allies thing is taken seriosly because new player don't see anything amazing in this game. So if they see that actually everything an NPC AI allies does is purely based on beheviours that get added with certain new units, they will see how much potential the game has. If any of you devs says this is not a good place, I will delete/(move?) since my only reason for messaging is to pass on suggestions 1. The more I watch how to videos, the more I see how inefficiently I used my whole base and this includes redoing almost everything. Please add more to the tutorial. Even challenges if you want. It can be as simple as going from one stage to the next one via solving puzzles that involved behaviour comments Aka the basic will be basic, like how to tell a unit to pick up items and deliver, aka exactly like tutorial. However, also some other basic stuffs. Like how you can use the rater to detect whatever it is. As well as the differences between. Also in this basic, in game stuff, like using Alt, shift <- like how holding and press any of the 10 numbers, you assigned said group to said number (if it was not mentioned in options, i would have never found it), how to use the shared storage. Let me now even start with the channel 1 - 4, disabling collect and such, from network. More advance is using the behaviour comments, the more simple ones. Here you can also let people know that you can save units, create folders, and more I only learned via "i wish I knew before playing" & "tips and tricks" videos. And of course expert is essentially exactly that. for people who played many hours of the game. I want to point out that what I wrote above is NOT taking seriously. People pick up this game to PLAY a game, not to READ lectures. Aka YES WE ARE IGNORING THE CODEX because we want to play and not study <- this is why I said, it's not taking seriously. 2. Just like in factorio and other games, if a building is destroyed, add the option for a "ghost" to be there that will essentially trigger for said structure to be rebuild. I stopped my 20 hours play because I had enough that each time the bugs invade, I need to redo the plateau that got destroyed as they walked in. Aesthetic is a very important part of this game, so having ruined plateau is just irritating. And of course, if a building gets destroyed, this is even worse..... The notification: something got attack, just leave it there until we dismiss, even add a button: reconstruct. So even if a unit gets destroyed, they get replaced. 3. Please do something about blocked paths. Nothing is more annoying in automation games. I fail to understand why such scenarios happen: Mass boss mine a large ore patch, but one bot who is more in the centre, can leave since the path out is blocked by other bots who are mining something else. Just let the bot move, with the other bots move out of their way. Same idea, tons of bots, at the same time, when to the destination storage unit, and they blocked each other out. Since the storage was to full, they where wasting all in a certain place to drop off, and of course, the one coming to pick up/empty the storage was unable because the mining bots block this off....... Do you see what I mean with Nr1? Do you know how it is when I learn how to use portable transfer equipment, how it is when I learn how to program the behaviour of other units. I was doing so many thing absolutely new, so many task, so many aspect, so many verification everything work, that I did not even have the time to do a "transfer" bot like in tutorial since I needed to go to the next thing. And I am sure many other people do the same.... 4. Add a in game "note". Let us do our own task. A reminder. Especially if you can allow us to even add pictures/icons and values. 5. Regarding the visual: Can you please add a background? Like a geometric shaped? <- I did not say square or circle because I do hope you let us chose the size, form, and colour of the frame. Maybe it's because of my eyesight, when I have set items that I craft as visual, I sometimes don't see them clearly unless the colour differences are strong 6. For the Radar FILTER, please also add "NOT". Best examples are the Infinite resource + bots who are automatically collecting resources... except you need to manually re orient them when they go for the infinite one when there is a non infinite chunk next to it. This "not" is also good for EASY setting for robots who collect or explore. Instead of setting up a behaviour to run from enemies, all you need to to do is scan for "target" IF no enemy is around. This way, no behaviour is needed. I will stop since other suggestions might not be relevant or solvable via behaviour loaded by others. Lastly, I just want to make it once again clear, all i wrote is feedback that I hope will Improve the game. I really love automation factory building. Because as thing stand, I will most likely keybind controller keys to keybord and mouse via steam imput because the game can't be used as it it right now. Also, if you wish to "fix" controller, all you need is to add a switch key or whaever it's called. Exemple, I move with left stick, good, but If i press and HOLD (you know, like shift on keybord) and then use left stick, it will now work as a mouse insted.
