I want to use batteries to supply a remote mining operation before power transmitters, and it's not really doable anymore since the changes to internal capacitors. You used to be able to mine for 30 seconds or so on battery so it was viable to just have a battery on your hauler and run on internal power while it was gone, but now you can't do that because the internal power lasts 0.5 seconds and the internal capacitor won't charge up from other forms of storage. | 3442 | 🙂 | Suggestion | UI feels really complicated to comprehend on first minutes even after couple mins on tutorial. For me first problem was to understand right lower UI and "B" to be different than what you would build form starting base unit. Other games have made first upgrades or steps to be indicated or highlighted and that would help also here. (TBF don't know if this happened or not LUL) Also felt that early game experience wasn't capped by any resource or anything so I just babyboomed everything and still don't see limits. Would love bit slower early start and then open more options than rn is avaible. Felt bit annoyed how pathfinding of bots works and if did too much of them they would randomly afk and block others while couple of em keep rushing over. eventhough this really don't matter. Dunno how I'm suposed to feel of signals and programming part of this game. Kinda opens so much potential that I don't see any herostory or bumps on my progress so bit lost motivation to keep playing. Bit more challenges or problem solving early game might help do it. It feels like it grew organically, with features being added gradually without a lot of high-level structural design thought. A system with a smaller number of much more generalized nodes would be easier to learn and more flexible. For example, there's no simple if/branch node right now, but there's a bunch of specialized nodes that will branch on specific conditions. Of course, there's always room for improvement, but so far, we haven't noticed any errors. Great job, please keep it up. Ideas: Behavior Controller: How about adding an Expert mode where players can directly work with Lua, similar to many other games? This would provide access only to the game unit or the faction's internal network. Lua access doesn't pose a security risk and offers attractive possibilities for many players. Next idea: Faction Selection -> Give players the option to choose and play as different factions, such as aliens, humans, machines, or the like. Most important point: As a server operator, I've had many issues with other players at the beginning because there are no limiting or exclusion options for server owners to keep disruptive players away. (I've had to reset my server three times because people just joined and caused trouble.) It's currently manageable, but improvements would be appreciated. For example when i wanted to move all my ports to a different spot on the map... saw that destroying the drone port just made all the drones "boxify" themselves wherever they were on the map... noticed that if i turn the drone port off that all the drones return home (mostly: one small bug i had 1 out of 30 refuse to return and just seemed to live forever on one charge lol).... So i found the "ctrl click to boxify" when they were in the drone port, which was nice... shouldve used that first... but then later on when i rebuilt the drone ports and stocked them up, if i started with an "off" drone port, all the drones inside were ALSO off... and it's pretty hard to turn drones on... right click, click "select unit", then click power button... Not sure suggestion: maybe just a more easy way to select the drone units? Some way you can hold ctrl and select multiple so you can turn them all on at once?
