809😟SuggestionIt is very difficult to see which of the small buldings does what when you have multiple blueprints for different productions with the same building base.
Blueprints should either be able to have a custom icon set for them or possably better, have the visual register be visible in the build selection UI (question would be how to handle multiple different visual icons like in world view but at least showing the first one or two would help a lot in finding the right building)

807😠GeneralI have played 12 hours of the Desynced EA and I dont know how many of the initial demo. I was not involved in any subsequent playtest or other demos that were hosted.
I have over 5800 hours in Factorio and 1100 in Satisfactory so I kind of understand the factory game concept. I played Factorio during Early Access for many updates long, long before it was released and then after.

With Desynced this is where I am up to:
- 2 of 3 scouts are infected. Now, with only one scout, the game is even slower to progresss than it was
- I was told on steam discussion that I can create scouts in the re-simulator with worker bot + blue cubes which would be good but I cannot research the re-simulator now...I guess I researched the wrong stuff first
- So I need blue cubes (robitics data cube) to create infected circuit board (presumably to deal with the virus somehow). There are no blu cubes in any of the runined buildings I was able to check for long distances around the base. Some buildings I could not check because I need an intel scanner which I dont have and dont know how to research. Eventually I got warning saying something to the effect that I should not venture further so I gave up.
- I need a refinery to make Bug Chutin in order to make the infected circuit board. I dont have a refinery or know how to make or research one
- I keep getting warnings about a blight storm but dont know what that does, how to avoid it etc. Nothing in the wiki abou this. I looked up the stage discord and find many references to blight but its way further advanced than I am (references to blight extractors, magnifiers, uplinks etc)
- Occassionally I get warning about an anomoly detected that I need to investigate - what or how is a mystery
- even basic stuff ... I have metal ore being made, delivered to building 1 and made into into metal bars being passed on to building 2 to make metal plates... but the metal plates dont get made because the inventory space is unavailable - spare slots are full of metal ore (even though no miners deliver ore to building 2)
Combined with comments from your "non toxic community" (including folk happy to take me to task on other peoples discord channel because I left Stage's discord) its just not been a pleasant experience and I certainly regret purchasing the game.
I wont be writing a review on Steam....but you asked for feedback (every time I pause the game !) and I needed to vent my frustration.

803🙂SuggestionFirst time player feedback: For idiots like me it would probably be ideal if you were to telegraph a suggested position for the base deployment. I initially put it down much further outside of the range of metal which caused me to do a lot more manual work initially since metal was outside of the logistics range, until I could connect more resources with research and the power stations (don't recall the name atm). 796😟GeneralIf the Shared Storage is currently full at the time of the first attempt, Miners don't retry a transfer to Shared Storage even if you retask them to attempt to mine with a full inventory.

In the screenshot and savefile is some miners currently full and others filling up - the ones currently full should ideally try for a transfer request.

Don't mind the interesting location of metal ore too much

780😠SuggestionI don't claim to be good but I am certainly not new to logic or AI behaviour but I can't get on with this at all.

I feel like all the pieces are probably there (somewhere?) to build a solution to the problems presented in the game but that they are all implimented in a very specific way because I am supposed to be doing things in a specific way.

Also what I can do, if I could actually get it to work, is completely broken.

I made a script which switches out research uplinks for turrets when the enemy is in range, this is game breakingly powerful; because I can do it, the game has to be balanced as though I am going to do it and then I have to do it and I don't want to do that because that just washes all the flavour out of everything, why make anything dedicated to a task when superior intelligence defeats all comers?

The annoying thing about the script I made is that it doesnt work properly because while triggering the weapon switch is simple enough changing it back is not so easy because I can't say NOT this and there is no default path out of the blocks for no enemy detected.

As I say, I'm sure there is a way of doing this but I am too stupid to know what it is.

I am unsure if this already exists in the game and I am missing the option at the moment, but if not, the ability to blueprint multiple prefab blueprints together into a larger one would be amazing. This way instead of dropping down like 5 different prefab blueprints 16 times to make a larger build we can instead just drop the 1 prefab large blueprint down for quality of life. I'm thinking now that this is due to the bot reading that it needs to deliver resources to specific slots when attempting to make a delivery, and gets stuck waiting for those slots to empty as opposed to filling emptied "pending" slots. 2023-08-20 00:46:30
