5020😟GeneralIf you are doing the silice mine mission with friendly bugs, they don't attack you making you able to direclty go too the repair step.
But if while you are taking the required 20-20-20 ressource to repair you attack bug for any reason ( i needed there shell for purple circuit :( ) they became unfriendly and can instant destroy the mine. Making you unable to repair it and so stuck with an never doable mission.

5016😟GeneralSO, I have just copied a power grid extention Bldg and want to place it 6 spots outside of the exsisting grid. the gris is being displayed. I don't want the grid to show so I hit 'G' and the grid stays and does not disappear anymore. Is this intentional? or is it a glitch? We use to be able to toggle the grid on and off with a blueprint on the cursor. yes take off the blueprint and hitting 'G' toggles the grid off n on but NOT with a blueprint attached to the cursor as i have in this save.
Just move the cursor around and see the grid, then hit 'G' to toggle the grid off.

Might need to have maybe two seperate options, one to always show and one to show only for selected units.
Use case scenarios would be to quickly check if you have any blind spots where defenses don't cover at a quick glance. Another would be to see engagement range of your mobile units when you plan on being in combat.
Another use case scenario would be if you have a turret building blueprint ready to be placed, you could see it's engagement range before placing so you can decide if it's a good spot to build it without having to build it first and then checking the range.

5003😟BugWhen behavior is running on an undeployed command center when it gets deployed, the behavior will break upon deployment. While behavior will be running, the parameters will be lost, together with system 'losing' the ability to work with them. Saved game contains command center that will be deployed automatically in 2-3 minutes, as soon as two construction sites are complete.

To replicate expected behavior - reload Command Center's Behavior into the controller to reset the parameter assignment after deployment.

4988😟GeneralHi devs! I've been away from the game for a while and started playing again after the combat update. I'm noticing some things that are quite hard for me to manage compared to what I'm used to.
First, behaviors. I tried editing one of my old behaviors and saving it as a separate copy but it ended up overwriting my old behavior. I remember having the option to save the current behavior as a new one or overwrite the previous. Why would you change this? It seemed intuitive to me.
Second, as much as I like having separate sections for Faction and Global blueprints and behaviors, I also wish that they don't interfere too much with the simple workflow. Let me explain.
When I'm saving a blueprint now, I have to pick whether I should save it as a faction one or "My" blueprint. And if I somehow save it to the wrong one, they don't show up in my build menu or assemblers (I saw that we can toggle this for buildings but not for assemblers). I just wish that this whole thing wasn't as complex and confusing.
But then again, it may be because I was so used to the simplicity I had before. I hope you consider these. It's stressing me out

4977😀SuggestionI would like the ability to edit how long the day and night cycle is specifically, as well as introduce night time obstacles that the player must overcome, such as night specific hostile creatures/patrolling bugs, or anything of the sort.

This would allow more options for the player to up the difficulty in a natural way(night specific changes), while also adding the option(the day/night cycle editing) for the player to create self imposing challenges or just more difficulty.

An example could be having night only challenges which on its own would disable any form of solar energy generation that the player would have to keep note of.
Another example would be if there are more solar based functions added to the game, the player would have to balance between day time gameplay and night time gameplay, say a Solar based turret that does nothing during the night but in return is pretty strong during the day.

An example custom scenario could be Short Days Long Nights where it's now like 20% Day and 80% Night, so the player would have to make sure to use the time wisely as when night comes, it would bring all sorts of trouble.

4976😠GeneralThe changes to the UI made in todays update on the experimental build are a negative that makes the UI worse. Please either revert the positioning change to inventory and research status or allow an option for customization of the UI.

By moving the inventory window to the far left of the screen you remove the centralization of the UI interface from a centralized (bottom) position that makes it harder to see and will typically add more mouse movement when dragging from the inventory to another location as the target location will more often be centralized on the screen as it is the focus of the players attention.

I just got trolled and lost some very complex behavior logic work AGAIN because of the totally nonobvious relationship between faction library and "my" library. And my last couple hours of trying to sort things into folders, has been totally trashed by the moves of blueprints causing behaviors to *sometimes* move around?!

I'm putting the game down again until this is fixed. The complexity of this game is a treat. But when the complexity management tools are completely pants-on-head, and all the basic organizational features are outright trolling me, it's an unplayable fucking mess.

I'm so frustrated guys. I want to love this game. I want to bring all my friends to this game. I can't.

4974🙂SuggestionPlease make the comments on a program element able to take space that is considered by the auto-layout system. Behavior code can be very hard to understand and comments are very important.

It would be fine if there is just a rectangle we can adjust manually. (I know that to deal with reflowing text on the fly can be quite unpleasant in code!)

Alternatively, at least please make the comment on an element draw over other elements when that element has mouseover!

For example... alphabetically sorting the categories would certainly be nice. Or at least respect nested folders and show siblings next to each other!

I currently try to refactor my organization of all my design plans. It is quite difficult to guess what will produce a good result in the UI. (It is also very inconvenient to move things between deeply nested folders, but that would be another suggestion.)
